You’re invited to the first-ever Vermont Changemakers Summit

Join us on April 11 at Harwood High School for the first-ever 2026 Vermont Changemakers Summit!

This gathering is a space for people who care deeply about their communities and want to strengthen skills, relationships, and strategies to make change possible. Join for a day of free workshops led by organizers, artists, and community leaders across Vermont! 

Whether you’re a seasoned organizer, volunteer, or advocate or simply feel moved by the moment we’re in, this gathering is for you. 

Join your neighbors from across Vermont who are showing up, sharing what they know, and learning how we can be even more effective together.

When: April 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m,

Where: Harwood High School in Moretown, Vermont

Who: You! This free event is for anyone and will be a family-friendly event.

This is an opportunity to stand strong in the face of many challenges while we chart a path to make Vermont a place where everyone belongs. 

Attending this organizing summit requires no prior experience, and it’s free! All we need from you is a day of your time and the passion to build community and work toward a just Vermont for all. 

At the 2026 Vermont Changemakers Summit, we will:

  • Provide trainings with seasoned experts on effectively organizing in towns across the state

  • Hold workshops to build connections and inspire action through skills training at any level of experience. (Organizing 101, Effecting Change in Municipal Government, Knowing Your Rights When Protesting, and so much more). 

  • Create lasting connections between the nonprofit advocacy community and decentralized grassroots organizations 

  • Share tools, strategies, and resources that strengthen organizing and coalition-building work (Art in Activism, Ethical Communications, and more)

  • Seed new ideas for action and collaboration moving forward
