Tim Morgan

Tim leads our training and technical support work with schools, community organizations, and state partners to grow access to healthy, delicious, and affordable food for all of Vermont’s children. He provides individualized support to schools and communities across the state to strengthen their use of federal child nutrition programs, with a focus on expanding the reach of meal programs outside the school day and over the summer. Tim manages our advocacy efforts to continuously improve the federal Child Nutrition Programs and eliminate barriers to participating in these meal programs for kids.

Tim also started and leads the organization’s Research & Evaluation working group, which spearheads the organization's efforts to gather and understand data and evaluate our work. Tim has developed accurate impact forecasts for Hunger Free Vermont’s legislative priorities, as part of this work.

Tim received his degree in Politics from Oberlin College, where his work focused on political theory and comparative political economy with emphasis on class and labor politics. He enjoys engaging in lively debates, cooking, gardening, learning, and being outside. Tim lives in Williston with his partner, Barbara.
