Roz Pillay

As the Director of Community Engagement at Hunger Free Vermont, Roz leads the Community Impact team. She will take the lead in centering equitable community engagement in fulfilling Hunger Free Vermont’s mission to end the injustice of hunger for everyone.

Roz has a long history of service in the non profit sector in Africa, Asia and North America. She is passionate about creating inclusive, equitable and emotionally safe spaces for people to thrive. She champions the use of a Trauma Informed Approach in community engagement. 

HFVT’s values of Integrity, Collaboration, Justice, Courage, Power-Sharing and Joy both inspire and inform her approach in building bridges of understanding and collaboration in Vermont and beyond.
