As the effects of federal changes to SNAP and Medicaid roll out across the nation, it is critical for Vermont to ensure that everyone who is eligible for health care and grocery benefits are able to stay enrolled or be enrolled—but it’s going to take the support of benefit assisters to navigate new paperwork and rules.

Benefit assisters are trained to help people navigate assistance programs and help people get ALL the benefits they are eligible for. They are especially important for people navigating hardship that make it difficult to get the support they need and deserve.

Tell your senator that you support investing $3.5 million into Vermont’s existing network of trusted service provider organizations that help people stay connected to 3SquaresVT and Medicaid in the face of federal changes.
