Check out our 2026 Vermont General Election Candidate Guide to Food and Farm Security
Early voting is underway in Vermont, and we’re headed toward the general election on November 3. That’s why we—along with Vermont Foodbank, and the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont—are excited to launch our first-ever general election candidate guide on food and farm security!
We sent surveys to all of the candidates running for legislative and statewide office in Vermont in the 2026 general election. More than 80 candidates (from a variety of political parties) shared their thoughts on topics like food and farm security, the root causes of hunger, and the role of state government in addressing these issues. We’ve organized their answers into individual candidate profiles in the general election candidate guide. This is not an exhaustive list nor is it an endorsement of any candidate.
We hope this brand-new guide will help you learn more about the candidates in your districts. We’ll be updating it on a rolling basis if more candidates want to participate before the November 3 election.
