Natalie Williams
Deputy Director of Communicationsnwilliams@hungerfreevt.orgNatalie (she/her) is the Deputy Director of Communications for Hunger Free Vermont. She oversees the communications strategy to support the organization’s program, advocacy, fundraising, and outreach work. Natalie also manages the Hunger Free Vermont website, social media accounts, newsletters and other external communications. A former journalist herself, she especially enjoys working with the various reporters and media outlets in the state.
Natalie joined Hunger Free Vermont in December 2025. Prior to that, she was a senior editor at VTDigger, visuals coordinator at the Bangor Daily News, and held multiple reporting and editing roles at publications in her home state of California. She went to college at the University of Vermont, where she studied history and English.
She lives in central Vermont with her beloved cats. In her free time she can be found kayaking in hopes of seeing beavers, is learning how to sew clothing and loves staying active at the gym.
