Ivy Enoch
Director of Policy & Advocacyienoch@hungerfreevt.orgIvy is the Director of Policy & Advocacy at Hunger Free Vermont. Ivy leads the organization's state and federal policy advocacy efforts, and coordinates strategy around SNAP, child nutrition, and broader economic security policy advocacy with her brilliant colleagues. Beyond policy advocacy efforts, Ivy leads the direction of Hunger Free Vermont's 3SquaresVT education, training, and outreach initiatives with her colleague Sophie. Ivy is passionate about ending hunger at its root, and ensuring human-centered, dignified access to food and economic support programs without shame or stigma.
Originally from Maine, Ivy graduated from College of the Atlantic with a degree in human ecology. As a lived expert in poverty and hunger, she is tied to this work from a personal level. Ivy lives in Burlington with her partner & two cats. In her free time, she loves to read, garden, and mountain bike!
