Hunger Action Center

We all play a role in ending hunger.

Hunger Free Vermont advocates for policies at the local, state, and federal level that ensure everyone living in Vermont can meet their needs and has access to enough food and the right foods for them and their families. Ending hunger requires changing laws and policies that make it hard for people to make ends meet or access the food they need.

Our voice alone is not enough, and we need you to join us in raising your voices to help eradicate hunger in our state.

TAKE ACTION NOW

Help make Universal School Meals permanent

All students need good nutrition to learn well, and every student should have access to the same things while at school, whether it is educational opportunities or food.

That's why Hunger Free Vermont is leading a campaign to bring universal school meals to every public school in Vermont. We believe that every student in Vermont should be able to eat breakfast and lunch at school with no additional charge to their families. In other words, every student should have access to universal school meals.

Sign a Universal School Meals Supporter Card.

One of the most powerful ways to support Universal School Meals is to share - in your own words - why you believe all Vermont students should have access to school breakfast and lunch at no charge. These supporter cards will be shared with legislators to demonstrate support for the Universal School Meals bills.
