Lisri Correll is a Child Nutrition Initiatives Specialist at Hunger Free Vermont. In this role, she provides training, technical support, and outreach to schools and communities to strengthen their use of Child Nutrition programs.
Prior to joining the staff at Hunger Free Vermont, Lisri worked as a Discrete Trial Interventionist at Burlington School District, where she worked with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder or developmental delays.
Lisri was born and raised in Indonesia. She graduated from Saint Mary College, Jakarta, Indonesia, and later she worked as a stockbroker at companies like Deutsche Morgan Greenfell and BZW Niaga Securities. She came to America in 1999 to follow her calling to work with inner-city children in the Bronx, NY as an intern. She moved to Washington D.C and worked in a non-profit organization called Kids’ Konnection serving inner-city kids in Southeast Washington, D.C.
Currently, she lives in Colchester with her wonderful husband, Bob, and her beautiful daughters, Julia and Mei-Ling. In her spare time, Lisri likes gardening and reading mystery books.
