Lisri Correll is a Child Nutrition Initiatives Specialist with Hunger Free Vermont. In this role, she provides support and technical assistance to schools, and leads team efforts to collect and update school meal program enrollment and participation data.
Lisri is particularly excited to be helping schools launch universal meal programs, providing free meals to more and more students each year.
Prior to joining the staff at Hunger Free Vermont, Lisri worked as a Discrete Trial Interventionist at Burlington School District, where she worked with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder or developmental delays.
Lisri was born and raised in Indonesia. She graduated from Saint Mary College, Jakarta, Indonesia, and later she worked as a stockbroker at foreign and local companies in Jakarta.
Lisri came to the United States in 1999 to follow her calling to work with inner-city children in the Bronx, NY as an intern. She moved to Washington D.C and worked in a non-profit organization called Kids’ Konnection serving inner-city kids in Southeast Washington, D.C. Currently, she lives in Colchester with her wonderful husband, Bob, and her beautiful daughters, Julia and Mei-Ling. In her spare time, Lisri likes gardening and reading mystery books.
