Jake Jemas is the Administrative Specialist at Hunger Free Vermont. In this role, Jake is the Swiss army knife of the office, providing assistance where needed using his varied skill set. He processes donations, provides technical support, manages databases, and assists the functioning of the finely tuned machine that is Hunger Free Vermont.
Prior to joining the staff at Hunger Free Vermont, Jake interned at the South Burlington Planning and Zoning office. In this role, he spearheaded a slew of projects including modernizing street standards and creating a community input GIS map for scenic view valuation.
Jake received a degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Economics and Land Management from Green Mountain College. He believes in the power of community unity towards equitable goals. In his free time Jake turns wooden forms and searches for winged critters through his trusty binoculars.
