Hunger Council OF Franklin & Grand Isle Counties
With generous support from the Canaday Family Trust, the Hunger Council of Franklin & Grand Isle Counties was launched as the first of our two year expansion initiative to reach each region of the state with Hunger Councils. In May 2015, the Franklin & Grand Isle Council had their first meeting with over thirty attendees.
The Co-Chairs of this Council are:
- Catherine Dimitruk, Executive Director of Northwest Regional Planning Commission
- Robert Ostermeyer, Director of Franklin/Grand Isle Community Action.

The Hunger Council meets next on May 15th from 3:00 - 5:00 at the State Office Building, Room 138, 27 Federal Street, St. Albans. (Press Release Here) The Hunger Council will be focused on early childhood nutrition and supports. The draft agenda is available HERE.
