Hunger Council of Addison County
The Hunger Council of Addison County, our fifth Hunger Council, was launched in 2013 under the leadership of Frank Mazza and Emily Joselson.
The Co-Chairs of this Council are:
- Emily Landenberger, Marketing, Education, & Membership Assistant Manager, Middlebury Natural Foods Co-op
- Moira Cook, District Director of the Vermont Department of Health, Middlebury District Office
Most recent Hunger Council of Addison County meeting:
The Hunger Council last met on May 8th to explore the Farm Bill. Faye Conte, Hunger Free Vermont's Advocacy and Education Director, led Council members in a discussion on how the Farm Bill Reauthorization process works and how the Council can help advocate for a stronger nutrition and food assistance system. All meetings, unless otherwise noted, are from 3:00 - 5:00 at the Counseling Service of Addison County in Middlebury. Hunger Council membership is open to anyone with an interest in increasing food security in the community.
