As the Development Associate, Kayla works with the Development Team at Hunger Free Vermont to develop and implement the organization's annual fundraising goals. Kayla's key responsibilities are to prepare grant proposals and reports and coordinate the annual Hike for Hunger event.

Kayla received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, International Affairs and Italian Studies from the University of New Hampshire (UNH). Before joining Hunger Free Vermont, Kayla was the full-time Economic Justice and Outreach Intern with Oxfam America. Kayla was also a Board Member of the United Campus Ministry to UNH. In addition to her passion for all things Italian, Kayla also brings to Hunger Free Vermont a dedication to social justice issues with a focus on hunger and sustainable food systems.

Kayla is thrilled to now be living in her new home-base, Burlington, and is honored to to be part of a team so dedicated to ending the injustice of hunger.
