As 3SquaresVT Advocate at Hunger Free Vermont, Faye Conte works with 3SquaresVT Advocacy Manager, Angela Smith-Dieng, to increase Vermonters’ access to, and participation in, 3SquaresVT. Additionally, Faye is helping to expand Hunger Free Vermont’s advocacy and outreach efforts to combat senior hunger across the state.

Prior to joining Hunger Free Vermont, Faye researched sustainable food systems, rural transportation issues, and the health implications of poor food access in rural areas with the Transportation Research Center and the Center for Rural Studies at the University of Vermont. She also worked in fundraising for environmental nonprofits in Seattle, WA.

Faye received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Spanish and International Development and Social Change from Clark University. She is currently completing her Master of Science in Community Development and Applied Economics from University of Vermont. As a native Vermonter, Faye is thrilled to be part of such a passionate and hard-working team in the fight to end hunger in the state.
